I do not use this method. I follow the video from Jilles Groskamp but use the TDX smart shim and Kyosho P5 o-rings. I also use AE green slime on the o-rings and paper gasket. Since building them like this I have 4 leak free diffs =]

Thanks Quantra. I'll remember those.

I may have found my diff 'noise' issue too. Not ashamed to say, maybe a learning experience for others too. Let's just say I'll double check the thickness of the shims I use next time

Rebuild tonight. Test tomorrow. Hopefully that was the source of my leak too.
