Dave and I are in need of a whole lot of practice. We were hoping to be out there with gloves, scarves..... in February. LOL I understand racing on a cold surface would be similar as to racing on ice.

Ditto to what Jon said. You won't be able to get much good practice without the track being at least blown off, there is lots of little debris that will just chew up gears and bearings. Not to mention the colder temps will make all the plastic parts on the car much more brittle.
Come on out to horsham, you can get in some good practice and helpful setup tips so you can hit the ground running once outdoor season starts!
