Funny that everyone has the same problem with the suspension arms and having to drop the shim sizes......hope Tamiya is reading and corrects this. Not nice to have to go and spend more money on shims when you have already spend a pretty penny on the worlds best chassis! I know it says in the instructions that it will require shimming and filing as it for experienced racers but the original fit is rediculously tight.
Anyway all sorted after dropping a shim size as mentioned by CraigM.
I did however have to file the inner part of the rear suspension arms on the outer hub side (using the 2 x 0.5mm shims either side of the hub). I could have done the hub but the hubs are usually replaced more frequently so decided against it. Anyone else notice this or did I get a crappy batch of arms?
