I run 64p 90 tooth, but I can tell you that without knowing what your running for a motor, speed control and how much motor timing you run and the size of the track, giving you a pinion size is pretty useless. A good all around starting fdr is 4.0, watch your temps and re-gear as required.
that's what i was guessing, somewhere between 3.7-4.0fdr. but there are many ways to come up with that number. i'm more interested in what gears will fit in the car. for example will a 82/44 or 82/41 combo fit in the car, giving proper adjustment for mesh? i don't know because i don't have the gears here to try.
