I understand spacers placed above the knuckle will adjust static ride height, but should you use spacers below the knuckle? They do keep the knuckle stationary when the car is lifted off the track surface, centered between the arms I guess you would say. They also seem to effect droop.

Is there any other use for them?

It appears that Tamiya intends you to maintain 16mm on the kingpin (between the lower and upper arm).

How you do that is up to you I think- determines ride height and whatnot. Just not sure if you set screw the knuckle to the kingpin, are the spacers below the knuckle necessary?
