110 buggies and 70 truggies creates an extra heat.
Its actually worked out on the finals instead of the heats. Its harder to fit in the extra finals at the end of the event than it is to fit in the extra heat in the first few days.
example for 15 car finals with 5 bump up spots
Truggy 70 entries
Top 20 - 1/2 finals
21-40 - 1/4 finals
41-70 - 1/8 finals
going to 75 would mean a 1/16 final would need to be added
Buggy 110 entries
Top 20 - 1/2 finals
21-40 - 1/4 finals
41-60 - 1/8 finals
61-80 - 1/16 finals
81-110 - 1/32 finals
Its all to be confirmed at the moment and 180 entries is the proposed cap. AARCMCC are working on the schedule and that cap may increase if the racing will fit into the 4 days. The highest entries ever seen at a buggy nationals was this year i'm told, and was just over 100. If it goes over 110 we may fit in the extra and run 1/64 finals if its going to fit into the days racing. However its up to AARCMCC to decide
