6.5 is my personal go to in 4wheel.
Is it possible that a 6.5 with turned down boost(10%) will stay cooler and therefor last longer than a 10.5 boosted(40-60%)?
I ask because it would be great to have a motor for indoor and outdoor sized tracks.
Wiring in these tight areas is already an issue, i'd hate to rely on more than one motor a season.
Both win constantly at our track. A wheeler w/ 6.5 or 10.5 can do amazing things in the right hands.

its like choking down a racing engine to meet class requirements or building one that produces the max power inside the guidelines.. which do you think will out preform?
i tested this. was surprised.
and now with modern ESC you can boost your motor when going with a higher turn (8.5~10.5 etc..)
