As far as I can tell the v2 has a lot of plastic on it and comes with nothing where as the black is completely upgraded, comes with a body and tires.

This is to run indoor on carpet.
So what is the pros and cons of both? What would you pick?
The link suspension of the v2 is more consistent than the T-bar, but you are correct that a few more hop up parts are needed if you are serious about racing. The pivot ball is kind of a weak spot, but then I have also seen my share of broken t-plates.

Nothing wrong with the pro. Upgrading to the roll damper is more of a maintenance thing than a performance enhancement.

I would lean towards the v2. A good driver can win with either.
I picked both...
I win with neither..
