I can't give you a definitive answer as I run 48P gears but I can fit in a 80T spur and 28T pinion (48P) with room to go a few teeth higher so converting that to 64P you should be able to get it in.
I had problems getting higher ratios with smaller gears as they didn't mesh hence why I've whacked an 80T in there.
Thanks, I actually figured gearing between 86-88 spur and 48-52 would be ideal running 17.5
