I had my first good runs over the weekend. I ran 5 2s combos (All Maxamps 6500mah). Overall really liked it. I need to work on my toe/camber/ride height etc... Im still trying to learn the art of the setup. Once I get it dialed in right I think it will really hook up great. I was running 22/46 on the Tekin 1900kv and had a bad of heat problem. I hit 240 degrees on my last run, in fact it got so hot the solder on the ground wire melted and the connection came loose. I was running on a small track and not even really that hard. Unfortunately I did not temp the motor on any of the prior runs. Did not think it would be an issue. Tekin still working amazingly enough. Anyone have an idea as to why the Tekin would get soo hot? This is the same motor I ran in my SC8.2e which I bashed the hell out of and never had a heat problem.
