I order the transverse mod yesterday. I'll go out on a limb and admit that it's likely a normal dude running in a slow class wouldn't tell the difference between the battery configurations. Transverse leaves a nice area for a super clean HW 1s install. The car will be fast either way and for some reason I prefer a visually appealing chassis/electronics.
