There are two brands that make GT8. Ofna and Kyosho. Those would be a good source to use for body mounts and bumpers. Losi L8ight dirt oval is another.

I'm running Kyosho body mounts and bumper on my Tamiya conversion.

3. Things to consider: buggy rear shock towers are pretty tall and so are the dampers. Springs are also very soft. Here you may want to run the front shock tower and shocks on rear; if possible. Otherwise, you may have to fabricate your own shock tower.

That's basically it!
I appreciate the info.. do you have any pics of your conversion? maybe a shot of how you modified the body mounts and front bumper to fit on your kyosho?
