The Protoform PF8 body works with converted buggy's with offroad shocks and shock towers. Once you lower the chassis by laying down the shocks as far as you can, it really doesn't protrude much into the body. To see for yourself push the car down to about 10 - 13mm of ride height and then see how much higher the shock tower is over the top of the tires. You will see its not much and with a body that has a sloping hatch rear end (Corvette, PF8, Nissan Z, Ferrari 430), the rear shock tower sits just within that space.
