I actually got double thoughts on the carbon fiber sticks. Most of the roll over were fiberglass that is non-conductive. I dunno what is the effect of wrapping around the antenna wire on carbon fiber stick that is conductive.
Used to use a hollow graphite antenna with the antenna running up the inside, never had any problem. Wish I could still get them.
