So I'm assuming my BEC is blown on my stock spec V2 when plug in to my receiver it won't power up but when i unplug it was fine..Can I just bypass it and just hook and a receiver pack to power up my servo... Not exactly sure if you are saying that you cant power up your receiver or the ESC when they are connected together.
But the way to connect everything is the steering servo and ESC connect to the reciever on channels 1 and 2 but you plug in a battery pack (6v) to the battery input on the receiver. A small l.i.f.e. pack would be great for 12th scale.
You may want to send your ESC in for repair or buy the upgraded BEC board and install it yourself if its available yet.
