Not had any problem with the FRP parts - also run the aluminium Exotek servo mount. I actually think the F109 works better on tarmac because of the FRP parts, and so haven't considered any of the carbon parts.

I find the thumb screws fiddly, so use counter sunk screws and washers instead of the four thumb screws. Prefer those to button head screws that can introduce chassis tweak.
