I've always liked the bottom bleed (Losi style) better than the top bleed. The Kyosho shocks mix the best of all shock designs, IMO. Tamiya cylinder and piston quality, Losi bottom cartridge and bleed, upper rebound bladder, big bore, and high quality springs and x-rings (though rumor has it that the new Tamiya x-rings are even better). The only things I could think to add are advanced shaft coating (though it doesn't seem to need it) and bleeder top caps for even more tuning options.
