I have never tried to run the front with less than 1.5mm shims, so I'm not sure it would be of any benefit there.
Mike, this was my exact thought. I run the Hagberg mod, but with only .75mm removed from the suspension holders so that I can run 3* rear toe on my car. I prefer the way the chassis feels with this particular rear geometry.
