Reversed Polarity on my BL
I have a Castle Sv2 with a 4600KV motor and a Venom 5000mah 40c. I reversed the polarity on my lipo and plugged it in.. only an arc came up, no smoke, when I corrected the polarity the esc still worked. But even without turning on the switch it still turned on. and when I ran the throttle the esc the motor would run roughly and the esc would get really hot and so would the wires of the battery and heat sink.
Now as much as I would like to send this to Castle, Unfortunately I'm overseas.
So my question is what part will be needed to fixed on the esc to fix this? I've read on here and some other sites that it might be the mosfet. But I just need a second opinion before I give this to my electrician and start resoldering some new stuff.
I appreciate your help. Lipo is fine tried it with my mc331 and worked perfectly. Rx is good too.
