Actually, with steel CVD's, I'd say the next weakest link would be the main driveshaft. I've had friends who tried shiny CVD's with a front one-way & they ended up breaking main driveshafts. Personally, I can put up with changing CVD's, & the cost of the composite ones are much easier to deal with. And if I can't afford to do that, then I'll just use the shaft one-way, & use a regular diff up front.....
