You can run the F104 knuckles on the FGX but you have to change the rims as well since the bearings are in the rims on the F104. Several people have done this to get rid of a lot of the slop in the front end of the FGX. You do loose about a degree of steering throw but it doesn't seem to affect the car. I'm running the TRG knuckles for the F104 and cut longer arms for the knuckles so I now have a F104 axle/knuckle with the same steering throw as the FGX.
