with my original ta05 ver ii r, I have the rear shocks all the way out, so as straight as you can get, no rear sway bar, front blue and rear yellow tamiya springs, that should fix your rear traction problem, as for not having enough steering, so you have your epa to the max, as on my car I have tons of steering and my epa is 90 percent, if they are maxed, try the inner hole as mentioned, or trying using tamiys pink springs and a light swaybar, also play with your dual rate settings
