This is my current setup, medium sized indoor track with medium traction. Tried losi 45 in my gear diff today which is very close to 650 cst and absolutely hated it. Will be going back to losi 80 which is around 1000 cst.
For your 17.5 with a 75 spur I'd say somewhere around 32 maybe. I run 34 which is the largest that fits in between the motor screws but am using a 69 spur.
