so instead of leaving at the 20 turn it to 0 and use esc timing ill have to figure it out but thanks , more forum time i guess lol its killing me waiting to drive the thing ive had it almost a month now and its one thing after another to keep it from running
If you crank your motor timing to 20* it is 20* at all times and will create unnecessary heat . If you use 20* of boost you can set where the power comes in and will give you a softer bottom end which tends to work better on 2wd since you are traction limited in most situations. 20* is 20* but by using the ESC for timing you can control when and where you need the power. Instead of having to "roll" the throttle you can be more aggressive with your trigger finger and not worry about over powering the car. Its much easier to apply 20* of timing once you are already moving than it is to add it from a dead stop. One of the reasons that boost works so well!
