Ordered mine today and all the Hop-Up parts to go with it.
Shopping list is easy to put together using the article from Tamiya USA.
Scrolled down to the section: Separately available Hop-Up Options

Sticking with the F104 Pro body for now, I don't mind the Ferrari and McLaren that can fit this model but like the Tamiya one a bit more.

Just shopping around for servos now, low profile seems to be best option to avoid some issues.
Hope to have kit and parts soon (same seller), by then will have servo, receiver and ESC, battery options decided.

Club I'll try this at is in Castle Hill in Sydney, Australia, Castle Hill Raceway.
Their rules for F1 are clear.
Asking for advice on best performance for their motor options with this new F104 v2, they will let people use:
"Cars may run either a 540 Stock motor, 27 turn Stock motor or 17.5 brushless or a Tamiya Sports Tuned motor."

Cheers, oh and hello as this is my first post but I've been lurking around the last few weeks reading what models I want (will get Xray T3 2012 later for my touring car).
