I will be running rubber tires, 17.5 boosted... I am just stuck between the trf417 and 417x. I read the 417x has more flex, and is BRED for asphalt(the same issue I have with the TA06, but I feel the TRF will be MUCH more managable) and the trf417 is stffer and it could yield better results. Being as how Marc Rheinhardt prettymuch created both, I have been reading every document I could find. Ironically he is placing 2nd regularly on carpet and is "not satisfied" with its performance on carpet. Mainly due to him being a asphalt man.
I am by no means within a lightyear of his talent, and i would not be racing against people of that caliber. besides the "flex" he is experiencing on a 4.5t motor will not be experienced as much on a 17.5t boosted...
