That buggy is OLD. I dont think it would make much of a racer. Honestly those buggies werent even good racers when they were new and now my guess is that one is 10+ years old. I dont even think you will be able to find parts for it anymore.
In this hobby and especially in racing you save the most money by buying the good stuff the first time. Poor quality or old equipment can make things very frustrating....dont make your hobby frustrating.
