Buy a good quality brand, try and get a car that's not much older than 1 season of racing, check it out for excessive wear and slop, and try and get a car that you can easily get part for...its also good to buy a brand thats raced locally so you'll be able to get help from the local racers.

there's are plenty of good brands available nowdays so it shouldn't be had finding a good car.
