If 1.26 feels better to you than 1.32 or 1.33 then I would just stick with that. I have run 1.26 for a long time and it was always really good. I have only recently switched to the newer firmware for offroad, as I really like torque control on loose, low traction tracks. For onroad I don't need this so, 1.26 has been working well.
