For the shock threads, i spray simple green on them and let them soak for a bit if i have time. Otherwise i will just blast the whole shock body.
When your filling your shock body with oil, fill it up to the top of the shock body...when you put the bladder on the shock body and wipe off the excess, but before you crank down the shock cap, compress the shock 2-3 mm for FULL REBOUND.
