Gearing on carpet
For those that have ran the car on carpet, Mod motor, what kind of temp. is your motor running?
I ran a Reedy PT 10x1, new tires (61mm ?) geared at 98/25 and the motor was a 150*. A little warmer than I like.
Our current layout is super tight, almost all hard on the throttle, off and on again. Not much room for the motor to wind out.
