I've been following this thread thru and read all the post on how racers have spent time and money to improve their TA06s. Several have attempted to convert it to a carbon fiber double decker and spent as much also.
Tamiya introduced this car as a lower cost alternative to the double deck double the money wonder cars.
Stichy at Speedtech appears to have gotten the true spirit of this alternative. He competed with a stock out of the box car and placed second in the Bmain against a field of double deck super cars on it's maiden outing!
So with this in mind I went down to purchase a TA06 but it is currently sold out locally. I guess if we all had patience Tamiya would release a TRF version and I would get my tub version. But in our quest for the fastest car, the word patience is laughable!
