We all have answered your questions based on what we do with our own cars, just like Mark said, we are all still learning the chassis.. As far as grease and lubes go.. Its all preference...we all comented and you can take the info and make your own decision, it's like beer...everyone has a brand/taste they enjoy..there is no real right or wrong.... Take someones suggestion and try it and see if you like it....
I will answer the one question you asked me about the shrink tubing. No you do not have to cut it everytime if you size it right. I simply slide mine to the bone end service the shaft with grease and slide the shrink tube back over to cover the joint.
