This is interesting as the rumor is that Tamiya is testing metal gears in their diffs, they can't take the mod power. Guess time will tell.
the TE will come with metal gears still , but they are working on something new and a bit lighter. always an option for the stock and blinky classes to not have to run heavy diffs.
