Save your money and pick up a used 416 in the for sale section. You'll end up with a sweet car, plus spare parts and come out way ahead of a clone.

I don't plan to buy one, I was just curious. Like most chinese crap, you're better off spending the extra up front on the real deal.
But I don't think my LHS has anything to worry about. They're not trying to pass off the cars as real Tamiyas. I am sure Tamiya isn't very happy about it, but legally the LHS isn't doing anything wrong. This kind of copying is rampant in the RC industry; its the manufacturers they should be going after - not the retailers. But, they're out of reach in China.
