No signs of anything strange on the chassis and or belts...they don't seem to be slipping...could this be a motor issue?

Check the drive pin isn't coming out of one of the unis, this isn't so much a problem with the clip system but if you have the older style unis they can work their way out a hit the upright or knuckles
