Jonski- I have never heard of carpet dragons, but on your second question.... If you have the diff in backwards the locknut will work it's way loose and the diff will start to slip, and could cause damage to the diff. With most touring cars it will cause a whole new set of problems because most tourers have diffs that are offset to one side causing added drag damagig belts. With the Axis however this will not be a problem, but the diffs will loosening up and become damaged.
