I don't see kyosho changing the color unless they go back to all the hard towers and better coated shocks and other parts. The only thing I see they might change is the battery tray to a forward mounted battery box instead of the hold down plate on the wc model and maybe a different front tower with better bracing kinda like the 8.2 tower because I have seen a few broke front towers
