I have been running a 2200mah from a mini in the jrxs and have had no problems getting a full size lipo to fit in the type R. If you like the jrxs you will deff like the type R. I use my jrxs for asphalt and the type R's I run on carpet. i have 1 for our "spec" touring using a reedy radon brushed motor 1 for 17.5 boosted and one for USVTA. I also have one converted to a dirt latemodel ( but havent had a chance to try)
