Ive built some damn near perfect AE center shocks. Not a drop of air in them, top cap threaded on straight, etc. My only complaint about them is due to the design... despite being meticulous about the build and using ample green slime on the o-rings, etc... I could never get the AE shock anywhere near as smooth as the Hot Bodies. It probably has to do with the o-rings touching the shock shaft at two positions instead of just one. It just always had a good bit more friction/stiction.

Does anyone have a comment regarding the damping rate of the HB shock vs the AE?


Also.... I thought Blackstock used the Hot Bodies center shock? He was in the pics of his car from the IIC at least:
