Mounting T-Drift tires
  • boil water in a deep pan or one that can hold about 1 to 2 liters of water
  • once the water starts boiling, you can drop all 4 tires into it
  • leave for about 4 to 5 minutes before mounting. leave the tires in the boiling water while you work on mounting each tire
  • use kitchen tongs or whatever tool you have to remove a tire from the boiling water (never use your fingers). you need to work really fast once you take out the tire from the boiling water or it will cool down
  • place wheel on a flat surface (table or floor works for me)
  • with the wheel facing down place the tire on wheel, use a wooden board (or a towel and your palm) to press down the tire
  • once the tire is installed, cool it down with running water
  • do this for all four tires, one at a time

a household hair dryer does not work well, a heat gun is a better alternative but needs fines and some getting use to. boiling water works best, everyone can boil water!
