ive also asked in our lhs and theyre having difficulty locating the tech racing shaft - so this explains it. oh well, i think ill just take my chances with the stock drivetrain components and hope that the gears dont strip too often 
i ran 2 battery packs a while ago and after a couple of crashes, the gears seem to be holding up.
If you use the new light weight shaft, which is 2mm longer than the old one, the gears will only strip in the worst possible crashes (like going into a wall straight on full speed).
