My reasons for liking the Oval version is:
- Price
- Front and rear pillow ball suspension
- Lower profile rear shocks and shock tower
Is there something about the GTP2e that makes it more suitable for onroad aside from the included Protoform body?
Yeah, I'd go with the late model if you're willing to buy another body. I converted my dm-1 to shorty rears and they work well and there's some weight savings!
