Sounds like the 1/12 17.5 sportsman is the class for you and we have been having some great racing at Norcal raceway in the 1/12 17.5 class. Almost the largest class next to TC 17.5 here with two heats
I have raced 12th for many years as well as many different classes and it's still my favorite after 26 years...
