Hi: First post and I hope I don't get into trouble for posting here,but since this about the Ofna DM-1 Spec E, rather than start a new post,here goes. I am looking to move up from my Traxxas Rustler VXL,which I am using for only speed runs. I have recently installed an FLM aluminum tranny case to somewhat lessen the heat problem that occurs with this Velineon 3500 motor when running 3s lipo and low gearing. But there is only so much one can do to this truck to make it go fast and not really into going there anymore,(Castle 3800,GRP's,etc)
I am seriously looking at purchasing a new Ofna DM-1 Spec E car, but am debating until I can do more searches for something along what I want the car for and then I finally found this site,where there are actual owners of this car.
I am also looking at the Traxxas X0-1,but the Spec E car seems way better built with the aluminum chassis and the front and rear suspension looks way more involved.
What other cars were you looking at before you aquired your Spec E?
I just want something for asphalt running, speed only, no racing.
Something else I should be looking at, maybe the (DM-1)?
