HELP Glow Clip and Driver

i have a 12v glow plug driver wired straight off the 12v gel cel starter battery i have put a tester down the end and i am getting 11.34 volts i have tried the high medium low settings on the unit...

i have just got a hyper 7 tq sport second hand and new to rc racing can anybody give me any pointers to look out for ie breaking shocks,arms etc and best things to replace ..
