@tfrankito - I could be wrong on this but i believe part of the reason for the heavy diff oils is because the diffs themselves are from a 1/10 buggy and the gear ratios of the diffs get thrown off...

Does anyone know of a rear skid plate that fits the DEX408v2? DE racing makes one for the DNX408 but do not list anything for the DEX.

@DMP - General consensus is 4 pole 540 4000kv is the best overall motor for the DESC, 4600kv is good for 1/8 tracks but is overkill on 1/10 stuff and the 550 size can adds to much unwanted weight...

+1 on removing the slipper, my truck has never felt better since switching to the Exotek slipper locker. Even when fully tightened the slipper can and does slip and not always at times that you want...
