Here in the midwest mugen is always a safe bet but tekno is picking up popularity as well. Losi seems to have a strong presence everywhere. Hotbodies are kind of hit/miss.

I would try an ounce of klotz synthetic oil per gallon....would give a slight pink color to the fuel and the little bit of added lube certainly wouldnt hurt. Just make sure you mix it in very well

Ummmm....I'm hoping that "idea" about chocolate syrup was meant to be a joke....the last thing you wanna do is add ANYTHING that contains sugar into ANY type of fuel for ANY reason

I've had good luck by pulling the backplate, carb, head, and using my fuel bottle to force raw fuel thru the motor. Then I simply reassemble things, paying close attention to the o rings on the carb...

You will only want @ 2-3% max castor oil or you...

You will only want @ 2-3% max castor oil or you will have a gumming problem....are you looking to make racing fuel or just fuel to bash around with?

To be honest, its up to the racer to be prepared for the surface they are racing on. I've seen hard packed manicured tracks blow out worse than loamy top soil tracks. There are so many variables...

Just in case mother nature decides to rain us out Saturday, we will race on Sunday if needs be. We are taking all precautions to ensure the track won't get killed by rain like last weekend lol
