Really depends on what oil you are running now....Thinner oil will break down faster, especially behind a high power brushless setup. If it were mine and all I did was bash, I'd put heavy diff oils...

Heat shrink in various colors works for me...Slide it onto the coil, heat it slightly, and then make a note as to what color coincides with that spring rate.

IME the plastic uprights provide more rear grip..Don't know if they flex where the alum don't??? Always heard the alum gave more rear grip, but I did not see that on my car. I usually run the alum...

The MBX6 ring and pinion is not the same as the 6T...If you have slightly stripped diff gears, it's doubtful, but you might get by for a race by shimming them tight. They will not last long though.

Some people you just can't help Joe....I haven't lost a 6T diff to date. I know racers that have, but they were not shimmed properly or did not push the cvd up tight enough to the pinion gear before...

+2 Just be easy on them for the first few tanks if you shim them tight from the start. Use plenty of grease. Not that it matters, but I break my diffs/bulkheads in with one shim on the ring gear...

NP...Don't use much loctite and just snug them up. Also check your shock bodies for any dents. That can also hang your shock up...

Sounds to me like your pistons were overtightened...Run your seal retaining cups finger tight.. Sometimes I leave mine loose and apply a touch of blue loctite if they feel tight.

On the diffs,...
