I think the RC8B3e is the better starting point for such a mod. 1/10 4WD platform is too weak. I remember the Durango DESC410. Fast but very fragile.
Keep it simple. Go for the Tekno

Neils fastest overall time in the finals was only 5 sec behind Coelho. Just bad luck in the qualifiers. I think the B64 will be competitive on carpet with more track time.
